in many cases it is possible to use both fractional and decimal forms to multiply and divide. What aer the advantages and disadvantages of using each form?

in fractional form when multiplying and dividing...it's easier to cancel out

in a decimal form..it is easier to divide with decimals when nothing is cancellable
