So what's a good way to start off a conclusion paragraph? I don't want to say "in conclusion" or "furthermore"...

You could restate your thesis and add some of your main points in. When finishing the conclusion you can say at the end
"to conclude"
"all in all"
"in the end"
"to sum up"
"finally"
Or you can end your conclusion with a question.
