a waitperson pushes the bottom of a glass tumbler full of water across a tabletop at a constant speed. The tumbler and its contents have a mass of 0.70kg, and the coefficient of kinetic friction for the surfaces in contact is 0.41. What force does the waitperson exert on the glass?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is given that the tumbler moves with constant speed, implies net acceleration = zero, implies net force = zero. so the force exerted by the waiter would be equal to the frictional force.
