Find the equation of the line of best fit from the data in the table. Round the slope and the y-intercept to the nearest hundredth. x 12 14 16 18 20 y 54 53 55 54 56

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

Okay do something, plot these points (corresponding 'x' and 'y' values) on a graph and 'join the dots'. See if you find a trend.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i don't have a graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk how to do this!

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

Try to make a rough one. Draw two axis on a plain sheet of paper, or if you have checked one, the all the better. Then do a rough scaling, and find out points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is stupid, i can't do it

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

Okay lemme show you how. Mind the kinks in the graph.|dw:1337101342381:dw| can you plot the other points - just edit my diagram by clicking on it's top right corner.
