new lateral length of the prism is also halved. so if it was previously 'b', it's 'b/2' now.

Find the new and old volume using these new and old dimensions respectively, and then find their ratio. (both the volumes will be in terms of 'a' and 'b' such that and b will cancel out, and leave you the ratio in constant terms)
