Write a paragraph to prove that the sum of the measures of angle 1 and angle 2 is equal to 180°.

Angles 1 and 3 are supplementary

So m < 1 + m < 3 = 180


Angles 3 and 2 are congruent because they are alternate interior angles. So m < 2 = m < 3

This means that m < 1 + m < 2 = 180
