or possible peer reviewed journals

Peer reviewed journals is correct. When a scientist talks about getting "published", he/she is not talking about posting something on his/her blog, but rather getting a research paper accepted by a peer-reviewed journal. If something is published in a journal, that also means that it's been checked over by other scientists to see if it's been done properly, and that means it's more reliable than an article posted somewhere else.
