Okay very very easy. You can see that you have a conjoined figure made up of two rectangles. Find the area of each, and add 'em up? Can you do this much?

Area is length times width, right? |dw:1337172028655:dw| So look at this, it's a similar picture to the one your problem has, except that the line is completed for the rectangle. What is the area of the large rectangle? What is the area of the smaller rectangle inside it?
