Okay-I made a mistake in my problem-again I am desperate-I really really need some help here. Teh problem is 25x^2+49=-70x. What is the value of the discriminant, and can you give the number and the types of roots/solutions/zeros? Please show your work-I am so so confused

OpenStudy (mertsj):

The discriminant is b^2-4ac

OpenStudy (mertsj):

First put your equation in the form: ax^2+bx+c=0

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Identify a, b, and c and plug into the discriminant formula.

Thanks a lot-I do aprpeciate it! Wish I could get you more often for help

OpenStudy (mertsj):

You're welcome. Did you find the discriminant yet? When you do, post it and I will tell you if I agree and then we will discuss the number and types of solutions.

I get so confused with this so easily-and then begin to second guess myself-hold on I will tell you what I have

OpenStudy (mertsj):

If you rearrange the equation you get: |dw:1337179667669:dw|
