tricky fractions question! help!!

\[\begin{array}{l} \frac{5}{x^2-4}+\frac{2}{x}=\frac{2}{x-2} \\ \text{Multiply both sides by }x \left(x^2-4\right): \\ 2 \left(x^2-4\right)+5 x=2 x (x+2) \\ \text{Expand out terms on both sides:} \\ 2 x^2+5 x-8=2 x^2+4 x \\ \text{Subtract }\left(2 x^2+4 x\right)\text{ from both sides:} \\ x-8=0 \\ \text{Add }8\text{ \to both sides:} \\ x=8 \\\end{array}\]
