Explain, in your own words, how to evaluate a polynomial for a given value of the variable. Demonstrate the process with an example.

Parth (parthkohli):

For example, a polynomial is \(2x + 16 + x^2\) If we have a given value as x = 4, then we will substitute the value of x with 4. \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\rightarrow 2(4) + 16 + 4^2 }\) \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\rightarrow 8 + 16 + 16 }\) \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\rightarrow 40 }\)

That helped me understand much better, I was confused although your example helped me a large amount. Thank you :)
