What is the length of the side of the square that has the same area as a rectangle that has a length of 27 mm and a width of 15 mm? Round to the nearest tenth, if needed. A. 405 mm B. 80.5 mm C. 42 mm D. 20.1 mm

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First, you'll want to find out what the area is of that rectangle. Remember, area of a rectangle is length times width.

OpenStudy (sup_open~study):

how do i set that up ???

OpenStudy (sup_open~study):

can some one help me plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

get the area of the rectangle first then use area of square w/c is s^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean how do you set that up? The problem gives you the length and the width. The area of the rectangle is length times width. Multiply them with each other.

OpenStudy (sup_open~study):

o thanks :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then get the squre root of what you got in the area of rectangle
