can anyone tell why is vector division impossible?
sorry i didn't get your question
think of what division means exactly????
There is not enough information to reconstruct the products uniquely. For example X = aY Where X and Y are vectors and a is some matrix leaves any number of solutions that would work. In the case of the dot product, the product of two vectors results in a real number. You could find infinitely many pairs of vectors that would give you that number so it is not uniquely defined. If I told you : A*B = 10 (dot product of A and B) Could you find one and only one A and B that makes that true? No, there are many and that means division is not well defined for vectors in this way, because you can't get back the vectors you started with.
its not only possible but also meaningless.....i think........
