Hey Guys, Can you help me with this? Difference between Effect and Affect.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Affect is a Verb, Effect in a noun. You affect something, and the effect is the product. Hope this makes sense.

I was writing a sentence, " Effects on students and Schools" Is this right?

Thanks :)

You're welcome, and yes I believe "Effects on Students and Schools" is right. :D

This is how I keep it straight in my head, I just remember this sentence exactly, and it's like a code to remind me how each word should be used. "When it rains in another part of the world, it doesn't affect you, but it can have a major effect on the local terrain. " Hope that helps.
