8x^9y^3 +2x^6y^2 +8x^3y over 2x^3y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide each of the terms by 2x^3y...the coefficents will be divided by 2 and you will find the difference of the exponents: \[8x^9y^3 + 2x^6y^2 + 8x^3y\] to \[4x^6y^2 +x^3y + 4x\]
