This was on my exam and I guessed 802 and got it wrong so I know it isn't that one for sure!

I learned from my mistake of being too lazy though: ~T = 84, 287, 431 Now what is the intersection of ~T with M? M = 39, 65, 84, 287 ~T = 84, 287, 431 So (M ∩ ~ T) = 84, 287 Now find (M ∩ ~ T)'s union with S: everything in both sets: (M ∩ ~ T) = 84, 287 S = 23, 39, 84, 431 (M ∩ ~ T) ∪S = 23, 39, 84, 287, 431 Now the question is asking how many subscribers belong to (M ∩ ~ T) ∪S....so add up the numbers: 23+39+84+287+431 = 864 So your answer is D) 864
