Confused. Help? A student claims that since water has a high specific heat, areas near the ocean are always colder than areas away from the ocean. Do you agree with his reasoning? Explain your position.

I disagree, but I'm not exactly sure as to how to formulate my answer.

During day... because water has high specific heat ... oceans slow to warm up At night ... it is slow to cool down ... for the same reason
