A certain city has a population growth rate corresponding to the relationship P=pe^(0.05t) where P is the population after t years when p is the current population level (e is the natural number). How many years will it take for the city to double in population (round the the nearest year)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since you want P = 2p, replace that in your equation: 2p=pe^(0.05t) 2=e^(0.05t) can you solve for t here?

im lost when it comes to this kind of stuff
