A spherical water tank has a diameter of 10 feet. How much water does it hold when half full? i got 2/3(3.14)(5)^3 is it 261.66 cubic feet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lemme check

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(4/3(pi r^3)) /2 = 261.67 ft^3. Yes you were right :D

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

I got 261.799, which is very close to what you have

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

If you're using 3.14 for pi and 1.3333 for 4/3, then it gets even closer to what you have

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are righ answer is 261.7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think Yan was right with me Jim. haha
