what would earth be like without human existence? Less opinion the better. Think about pollution and such.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well it will be less polluted but animals like tigers and lions who have no natural predator will become in excess and cause other problems There will be population excess of animals leading to overcrowding by animals

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the nature will be in perfect equilibrium.but if an asteroid will come then the life will be as helpless as dinos..human have a chance against that sort of stuffs, assuming that they dont make the earth too unfit to live..there wont be any overcrowding that i m sure as the birth rate of herbivores and killing rate of carnivores will strike an equilibrium or will oscillate about an equilibrium..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@quarkine I was talking about lions and tigers which don't have any natural predators so their population will become more leading to problems...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

assume that there are certain no of lions and hares in a region.lions will feed on hares..number of hares will go down and lions' number will go up...due to decrease in number of hares lions will starve and their population will decrease.less predators for hares then,so number of hares will increase...remaining lions will have more for dinner so again lion population will increase...there will be either an oscillation or equilibrium.so i think if humans are out of the equation then ultimately the nature will strike a balance..
