Reproductive cells are the sex cells - gametes. They are of two types namely the sperm and the ovum. The non-reproductive cells are the other cells which make up the human body - somatic cells. Note that the non-reproductive cells are diploid. They have two homologous pairs of 23 chromosomes whilst the gametes are haploid meaning that they have only one set of 23 chromosomes..:)
