OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

Triangle XYZ has vertices X(5,3),Y (2,4) and Z(1,1) . Match each transformation with the vertices that result after the transformation is applied to XYZ . (ill keep on with the question)

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

translation by rule (x-5,y+2) Reflection across x dilation by a factor of 5 with origin as center of dilation Reflection across y A. X'(0,5),Y'(-3,6),Z'(-4,3) B. X'(-5,3),Y'(-2,4),Z'(-1,1) C. X'(5,-3),Y'(2,-4),Z'(1,-1) D. X'(25,15),Y'(10,20),Z'(5,5)

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

@alexeis_nicole @Mertsj Sorry please help?!

OpenStudy (mertsj):

The first one is easy. Subtract 5 from all the x values and add 2 to the y values.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

If you reflect across the x axis, (x,y) becomes (x,-y) If you reflect across the y axis, (x,y) becomes (-x,y)

OpenStudy (mertsj):

I'm not so sure about the dilation one.

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

is number 2 C?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

yes

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

ok :D im going to do the other ones :)

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

the last one is B?

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

A,C,D,B
