when viewing a human karyotype to detect genetic disorder, which situation would indicate a genetic problem

OpenStudy (blues):

A karyotype is the set of chromosomes present in a cell, as seen under a microscope. All humans have diploid somatic (body) cells and haploid gametes (sperm and egg). And all the chromosomes should look normal - no gross abnormalities like missing arms or subtler ones like inverted regions. Hope that jives with all but one of your options.
