What does impeachment mean? My assignment is on the impeachment of President Johnson, but i just want to know what impeachment means! Dictionary references use too many big words. :/

If your are impeached you lose your seat in office or any other political spot. This is mostly because any major political higher can not be prosecuted or traied (trail). You have to impeach them to send them to court.

That's my plan! He was horrible,
 Once I read what he said after the 14th amendment was passed I was shocked,
"This is a country for white men, and by god, as long as I'm president it shall be a government for white men"
Ugh I try to be neutral in politics and stuff but President Johnson was a case!
