If, before there was light there was darkness then light comes after darkness. IMO if we accept BigBang then darkness preceded light.

stupidity of your question lies in the fact that u don't even understand the meaning of night and ask this question...
night is the periodic occurrence of darkness in any planet when it is in the shadow of its other half due to light of its sun..say night in India mean being in the shadow of the part where US is..so if you need night,there must be a corresponding day on the other half.how can there be a shadow without a light?so how can there be a night without a day?i hope you now realize why this question is deemed as stupid ,my frnd..
