Sure, just as soon as someone comes up with a nonlethal national defence mechanism. Somethng that for example would have let the Poles just tase the German panzers as they rolled acros the border on 1 September 1939. Or use some Jedi mind tricks on them, so that all the soldiers forgot how to operate their guns.
