30-60-90 triangle have this as their property (get to know them): the shortest side (side opposite the 30 degree angle) is HALF the length of the hypotenuse the other leg (side opposite the 60 degree angle) is (shortest side) * sqrt(3) it makes things simpler and without using PT.
