5 burgers, 1 soda 4 burgers, 3 sodas 3 burgers, 6 sodas 2 burgers, 8 sodas
Look at each of the answer choices separately. For example, the first choice is 5 burgers and 1 soda. 5x$4.50 = $22.50 and you don't even have to add the soda's price in to know that this is a possible combination and therefor not the answer we are looking for. Does that help?
