So, there can be 22 possible ways the the first no.can be, 21 for the next, 20 for the one after that, and so on... so you basically multiply 22x21x20.... till the 5th digit. METHOD-II Alternatively you could think this way that we need to choose 5 nos. from a possible 22, which means 22combination5, or 22C5 (not permutation since order doesn't matter)
