How you want to categorize it really depends on what you what the statistic to present, to show the most exposed age group in a particular disease for instance, or which part of the body is more prominent to get infected. I generally don't trust any statistics concerning diseases in a country if it doesn't come from " http://www.who.int/research/en/ ".
