Question

Another poem,
God
Was he my best friend?
Was he ever there?
My existence, my love,
I ask now, did he ever care?
Why can't I now,
feel him around me?
Why does my heart,
feel so empty and alone?
why do my tears now,
feel cold and betrayed?
why does my body,
feel so numb and lost?
why did he leave me?
maybe I went astray,
why can't he forgive me?
I beg him every day,
Do I still believe in him?
I shattered my faith
Oh, but the irony,
I know my destiny is hell.

It seems to me that the person is in conflict with one self about the existence of god and if he is real.

And if he is, why did he let them go through everything alone? Why wasn't he there when they needed him the most? Why did he let those things happen to them? A part of them know he is real but the hardship of life has put them in doubt and there faith is becoming weak. They are afraid that he has left them because of their sins and now believes their fate lies within hell.

It may not be what the poem about but that's what I got from reading it. Either way this is an amazing poem like annas said. :)

@Miss_Deva yeah, you are right about the poem,
and the last line, the irony is basically that how can one not believe in God, but believe in hell.
I didn't know my poem could be 'amazing' lol
