Solve: 3√3x+4-2 = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is this \[3\sqrt{3x+4}-2=0\] or \[\sqrt[3]{3x+4}-2=0\]?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

in other words is 3 the coefficient, or is it the cubed root?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cube root

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then add two to both sides to start with \[\sqrt[3]{3x+4}=2\] then cube both sides to get \[3x+4=8\] then solve for x
