@blues I have been repeatedly told that there is nothing wrong with the architecture of the OS-Math Study site and that any problems I encounter are strictly the fault of my computer, my browser, or my Internet Service Provider. No bugs exist so I was told.

@Directrix, Sorry that you feel you are being told conflicting things. I disappeared for a while - couldn't see my own avatar when logged on (and no one else could either) - so I reported the bug. I was told it was in fact a bug - though I was never explicitly told that it was on OS's end or mine. Plainly it has been fixed and I assume it was on their end. And that was before I was a mod.

btw @mattfeury just so you know...when you try to view a person's status (i.e. online or offline) from a profile (i.e. from the questions asked tab) it always shows offline

lgba, that profile status is definitely a bug, and I'm fairly certain I know why. Will check into it.
