There are 5 Hardy-Weinberg laws 1. Extremely large population 2. No gene flow 3. No mutations 4. Random mating 5. No natural selection Hardy-Weinberg is all about evolution of a population. As long as these 5 rules are met, no populational evolution will occur. If just one of these rules is broken, evolution can occur.
