write an equation in slope int. form of the equation of the line through the given points. (-1,-3) and (-4,3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know you use y2-y1/x2-x1 but how do you find your y int. after that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You know how to determine the equation, so just set x equal to 0 and solve the equation in order to find the y-int

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you also use point slope form?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

once you use the formula you used to find the slope..you use the slope w/i the point slope formula: y-y1=m(x-x1) then you have your answer...

okay thanks :)
