54 krissywatts Please show me how to do in 3 by 3 system equation x+3y-7z=8 2x-y+z=1 x+2y+2z=-1 Let me know if this has infinitely many solutions or if it's inconsistent.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

did you copy paste this from your other posts??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i just had it up there

solve for one variable. plug that into the next equation to solve for the next variable. then, with your two previous variables that you solved for, solve for the last variable.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 1, 0, -1?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

You are correct krissywatts, x = 1, y = 0 and z = -1
