mathslover (mathslover):

what is the value of theta here : sin^2 (theta) = 2 sin2(theta)

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

i am using theta=x ..writing is easier then :P so,, sin^2 x = 2 sin 2x = 4 sin x cos x thus sin x(sin x - 4 cos x) = 0 thus we have sin x =0 and sin x = 4 cos x or tan x =4 so your ans is x = n(pi), 2n(pi) + tan^-1 (4)
