What is the Y intercept for this linear equation. 6x-y=9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-9

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

why dont you try and do your homework yourself?

Parth (parthkohli):

Pretend that x isn't there. \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow -y = 9 }\) \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow y = -9 }\)

Parth (parthkohli):

Last time I answered you.

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

one or 2 questions i understand,,but this is getting too much now..these ques dont need a lot of thinking..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@shubhamsrg dont be a jerk im just curious its not homework so mind ur own business if your not going to be nice!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's best if you try solving these so that you get practice. These are the basics to much harder things and if you don't get this your gonna have trouble later on.

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

hehehe..getting agitated? seems you lost your screw somewhere!! its damn clear that you're not understanding a bit of it!! whats the big deal in setting y as 0 !! you're not paying attention..hey,,wait a min..is it?? i mean,,its you who must be jerking off!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tend to believe her since isn't school over with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, here in the U.S. it ends this upcoming week... So either its homework, or online classes for the summer... Or she really is curious: except that if your curious, one or two explanations would be enough to understand this kind of question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am curious, and yes school is over for me and NO i dont take online courses

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't mean to annoy anyone @PaigeMya I'm just saying that if you need help on something just ask and you'll be helped. But if you keep asking the same things over and over people are going to stop answering you. It's as if you're not paying attention and ends up being a waste of time.

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

thank you @jazy :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Maybe we didn't explain right and just gave an answer. The first reply was just -9 how will she learn anything like that? The second one a bit better but oddly phrased.

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

@timo86m no offence but why dont you see her earlier posts/questions.. i'd pay you if you spot any difference in the question type or standard!! it has been explained very well i'd guess more than 3-4 times by now..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The thing is that she's going on her 3rd question on the same subject. I wouldn't mind explaining each & every time if they do their part and try to solve it as well.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok
