John began his job making $20 the first day. After that he was paid $6.00 per hour. Y = 6x + 20. What is the intercept in the problem?

when ever you get these questions think of it as if you were drawing a graph you would sub in ever x value until you have enough points to draw the line so you start with x=0 meaning you will only get a y= something
this is where it crosses the y axes
that is your y intercept
