Photons are also known as beta particles. (true or false)

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Photons are quantum of light, so it's false

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A beta particle is a free electron.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A beta particle is emmited from a radioactive disruption, the two nucleus that come from that disruption have to have the same mass with the initial nucleus which means that the particles emmited have to be electrons, otherwise the masses would differ.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no........because the BETA having -ve charge... and photons having no any mass it meas (massless)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

FALSE!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ rahulchatterjee....! how???/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

As everyone says "FALSE" a photon is a light particle and a beta is an electron
