basic LaPlace i'm in diffeq we just started and they seem kind pointless

in linear system with given differential equation Laplace transform transfer your differential equation to algebraic equation ,so you can solve too many easier than in time domain.
and more important Laplace gives you some important frequencies that in the system we must to know and.....that has change the world if i am going to explain more.
