I think it depends a lot on the teacher. Some physics teachers say that physics takes simple things and makes them complicated. Their classes are hard and not a lot of fun. Walter Lewin says physics takes complicated things and makes them simple. His class isn't exactly easy, but everything is clear and the work is much more enjoyable.

Physics is about understanding and undestanding things is always fun - it takes the mystery away and helps you see how things work - no matter how complex!

The only real difficulty in physics is theunderstanding of mathematics that is required....it is worth going back to absolute basics and refreshing your memory on maths - right from number-lines upwards. It is not what you know it is what you forget that causes the problems and difficulties

I have just tutored a guy up to a level he needed for a degree and that involved refreshing his memory in very basic primary school maths which he had forgotten - he then had nothing to build on and just got disheartenend.

It's hard and easy. Make sure you have a solid foundation in math...if you don't then it's guaranteed to be hard.

Everyone here is correct make sure you review your math skills. Especially algebra and potentially some basic calculus for physics 1.

well i believe that finding a subject hard or easy depends on the amount of interest you have in it and it definitely doesnt depend on the kind of teacher teaching the subject...i agree with these people here who say that physics is more of observation...i for one have found it extremely thrilling..:)

Physics is not hard for anyone who loves it. When we learn anything, if we think of how it describes things in real life, it makes so much more sense and even the toughest things are broken down to little easier things!
