This question is more easily answered by common sense, If you're distracted while driving than you're paying less attention to the road.. It's equalivant to closing your eyes while running, you're bound to impact something or someone. Im not even sure what kind of facts you need. Well if you turn it up to loud you can get distracted, wont hear police or ambulance alarm that is speeding, your eye can be off the road for a couple seconds becuse your distracted from the radio,
