If the sides of a cube are multiplied by 4, the volume of the cube is doubled or multiplied by what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

volume of cube = side x side x side Lets say the side = 1, volume = 1 x 1 x1 = 1 if we multiply by 4, side = 4, volume = 4 x 4 x 4 = 64 Multiplied by 64.
