Divide both sides by 8. \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow 1 - 4x > 5 }\) Subtract 1 from both sides. \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow -4x > 4 }\) Divide both sides by NEGATIVE 4 and change the inequality. \(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow x < -1 }\)
