Heres the image

OpenStudy (ash2326):

It's a circle of radius 3 cm, can you find its circumference? Do you know the formula for this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope ,its a pre test before im supposed to read any lessons and try to get a good grade .

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Okay:) The formula for perimeter of a circle with radius R is \[C=2\pi r\] r=3 cm here so \[C=2 \times \pi \times r\] Can you do the calculations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i basicly multiply 3.14 by r which is 3 ?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Yeah and we have a 2 also

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 3.14 x 3 x 2 will give me my answer ?

OpenStudy (ash2326):

\[ 2\times 3.14 \times 3\]

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Yeah, you'll get the perimeter or circumference of the circle, and then see which is the option

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when i multiplied it i got 18.84

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and when I round , my nearest whole number is 19 ....

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Yeah, you're right. Always remember this formulae
