a company is manufacturing a gear in the shape of a regular polygon. The measures of each angle of the gear is 162. How many sides dose the gear have?

With a 162 degree angle inside the polygon, there is an 18 degree exterior angle at each corner. Since exterior angles total 360 degrees, then 360/18 = 20 sides.
