I have an oral exam in a few minutes and one of the topics she will be asking me about is angle measurements . Can you guys help me with that ? Thanks

OpenStudy (katrinakaif):

Give us a few examples on what she might be expecting..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont know , I just emailed her and she told me the list of topics she was going to test me on and one of them was this one and I just need help with this one the most so I really don't know , sorry :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well if she is wanting to no how to measure them...but idk

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

Do you know about acute obtuse and right angles ?

OpenStudy (katrinakaif):

It might be: Right angle : ___ Straight Line: ___ Circle: ___ Half of a right angle : ___

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah like that acute obtuse , right angle stuff like that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that it might be it Katrina but idk im not much help am i?

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

Acute angles : Angle less than \( 90^o \)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Shes not asking to measure them , I dont think . But just like what @Diyadiya is doing .

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

Right Angle : an angle that is exactly \( 90^o \)

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

Obtuse angle : an angle that is greater than \(90^o\) but less than \(180^o \)

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

Straight Angle (line) is an angle that is exactly \(180^o \)

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

Yeah ,Thats it about angles :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wow ! Thanks @Diyadiya , anything else ?

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

When two angles add up to \(180^o \) they are Supplementary angles

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

When two angles add up to \(90^o\) they are Complementary Angles .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks , anything else I should know ?

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

These are the basic things ,i don't know what else are there in your topic :S

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

Do you have to study about vertical angles corresponding angles etc ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im not sure , she just told me that one of the topics she was going to ask me about was angle measurements . Im not sure but can you just tell me anyways ? Thanks ..

OpenStudy (diyadiya):

When parallel lines get crossed by another line there are many angles formed |dw:1337705410924:dw|
