How can you tell when a quadratic equation has two identical, rational solutions? Answer a.when the radicand is not a perfect square b.when the radicand equals zero c.when the radicand is negative d. when b in the quadratic formula is greater than the radicand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b... if the radicand is zero, then sqr(0) = 0 so the quadratic formula gives only one root.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b. if the discriminant (radicand) = 0 , you only have 1 rational root.
