What 's the relationship between minute and hour and day?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh ? there are 24 hours in a day .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Start with minute --> hours: 4,800 min = ...

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

60 minutes = 1 hour so, 4800 minutes = x hours. can you find 'x'?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 days and 20 hours ... ?

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

no - wrong answer - you just a million dollars!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@xoxosweetx3 why don't you show your calculation here, so we can help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i just guessed , i need help to get to the answer , i dont know what to do .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then follow the instruction: 4,800 min = .... hrs ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think that it is D. 3 days and 8 hours. If i am corect, sorry if im not.. I divided 4800/60 which equals 80.. if there are 24 hours in a day then you get 3 day(which is 72 hours) then your left with 8 hours

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

first we convert the minutes into hours, and then the hours into days.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4800/60 = 80 hrs 80 hrs/ 24 = 3 days 333 .333 * 24 = 7.9 .. ( ~ 8 hrs)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

=> 3 days + 8 hrs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks ^
